Interoperability, application integration is two of the most demanding
challenges that face us in commercial environments. Choosing open
source technologies can free us from the challenges and restrictions of
deploying services for scalable large systems.
Using Apace, Axis, Python and Python libraries, enables us to publish
highly scalable web services. This presentation will also demonstrate
how to consume these services with Perl, Python, Java or PHP.

In addition to developing and consuming web services, this presentation
will highlight some management challenges that must be addressed when
deploying these types of open, asynchronous services.
