The Linux operating system has been touted as a more secure, cost effective option where the total risk for an organisation is lowered by adoption of a Linux strategy.

As Principal Consultant of Computer Associates Australia, Trevor Iverach is responsible for communicating and consulting on Computer Associates Security solutions.
Trevor has specialised in enterprise level security for over 10 years. Security knowledge and consulting experience includes areas of Identity and access management, threat management and security information management. Trevor is a regular speaker at industry events and is asked to comment on new or emerging security threats in the media.

Trevor joined Computer Associates as part of the Vet AntiVirus software acquisition in 1999. While with Vet Anti Virus Trevor held many technical roles and ultimately led the Global technical Support Team.
As a Principal Consultant in Computer Associates, Trevor consults to Australia’s largest organisations on many aspects of security technology and process.

Trevor has been certified by (ISC)2, the international Information systems security certification consortium, as a certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and also as a Certified CISSP Instructor. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Monash University. He is also ITIL foundations certified. Trevor’s broader expertise includes Enterprise Management and Desktop Management.
